Interested in joining UCS? We recommend following these steps to get started:
- Learn about UCS by browsing through this site and reviewing the resources available
- Put together your School Leadership Team
- Create your implementation plan. The PDF of application questions on the Funding Application page may help you with this process.
- Apply for funding. The link to the application is located on the Funding Application page.
- Schedule a virtual meeting with our team at any point if you need support or want to talk through anything. Email us at UCS@SONJ.org with some days and times you’re available!
Requirements of UCS Schools
- Implement all three components of UCS (this isn’t as difficult as it seems, promise!)
- Complete required reports, surveys, and trackers.
- Have at least one representative from your school participate in any required monthly meetings
- Adhere to reimbursement criteria and guidelines
- Implement a fundraiser to benefit your Unified activities or SONJ
- High Schools are strongly encouraged to attend at least one Youth Summit per year
