Location: Mercer County Park, West Windsor, NJ
Schedule: Please plan to be on-site 9am to 2:30pm. We cannot guarantee game, arrival, and departure times.
Who should participate: UCS High Schools in good standing should register one team to participate
Additional Information:
- Lunch will be provided to players and coaches. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own.
- Reasonable transportation costs to attend Unified Cup will be reimbursed above and beyond your grant award.
- Limited UCS and Unified Sports merchandise will be available for purchase. We can accept credit cards and ApplePay.
Team Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Unified Cup, schools must:
- Be registered with SONJ UCS
- Have their Unified Soccer team registered with SONJ UCS
- Coaches have current trainings and Class A on file with SONJ
- See Unified Sports Coach Training
- Email UCS@SONJ.org to confirm status
Registration
- Registration Deadline: October 9 at Noon
- Participant Paperwork Deadline: October 9 at Noon
- To register, please have this information available:
- Coach names, email addresses, DOBs, and t-shirt sizes
- Roster of players, DOBs, t-shirt sizes
- Your rating of your team’s overall skill, ball control, ability to score, knowledge of soccer rules
- List of Unified Soccer teams your team has competed against so far this year and the final score
Student Requirements
Eligibility Guidelines
- Students competing in a Unified Sport may not also be a Varity athlete in that sport
- Students must be able to compete independently
- Students may only compete on one Unified Cup Soccer team
Required Paperwork
- Students participating in Unified Cup must have the required paperwork on file with SONJ at least 14 days prior to the event
- Paperwork is valid for one year
- This is in addition to any paperwork required by the school/district
- This one-pager may be emailed or printed for parents
Unified Partner (without IDD) Paperwork
Due to limitations within the registration system, Unified Partners without an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) must complete the registration process in a manner that may differ from the instructions provided within the forms.
- Please review and follow the directions below carefully to ensure registration is completed correctly.
- You will create an account as an Athlete
- Select “Unknown” for athlete medical conditions.
Athlete (with IDD) Paperwork
Athletes with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) may already have a SONJ account and current paperwork on file if they participate in traditional Special Olympics New Jersey sports.
- If you need to create a profile, select “Athlete” regardless of your age.
- Under LTP, select your county and Unified Champion School.
