Season Dates
- Late August/Early September: Season begins
- October 9: Registration for HS Unified Cup due
- October 23: High School Unified Cup at Mercer County Park (rain date is 10/25)
- October 25: College Unified Cup at Mercer County Park
- Early November: Season ends
Unified Soccer Rules
- 5 v 5, ratio of 3 athletes to 2 Unified partners at all times
- Two 20-minute halves
- 5-minute halftime
- Running clock, except on time outs
Ball In/Out of Play
- Ball over the sideline results in a kick-in
- Ball over the end line results in a goal clearance or corner kick
- Kick-ins are treated as an indirect free kick (can not score directly from first touch)
Goal Clearance
- Goalkeeper always throws the ball back into play beyond his/her own penalty area
- Goal clearance can not exceed midfield without touching another player or the ground. Failure to achieve this results in an indirect kick to the opponent from the midline
- A goal clearance that is touched inside the penalty area by any other player results in the throw being retaken
